Itinerary for Saturday, September 23, 2023 

Start your day with a stroll to the “Saratoga Giant PumpkinFest”, a complimentary event perfect for all ages, conveniently located at the Saratoga Springs City Center Parking Garage, on 11-77 High Rock Ave. As the dawn breaks, you'll witness the gigantic pumpkins roll in.  Your senses will come alive with the Farmer's Market just around the corner, aromatic food vendors, and unique exhibits.  

Just steps away from the PumpkinFest, you'll discover your breakfast haven. Choose from the rustic charm of the “Country Corner Café" or the sophisticated flair of “15 Church Restaurant”. Both are sure to offer a delightful start to your day. 

With bellies full and spirits high, venture off to the “50th Anniversary of the Adirondack Balloon Festival”. Watch the sky transform into a kaleidoscope of colors as hot air balloons lift off, creating a spectacle you won't forget. Local vendors offer an array of products, and the food vendors ensure your hunger is satisfied while you snap countless photos of this beautiful display. 

As 3 p.m. approaches, the culinary delights of the region await you at the "Taste of Toga Festival".  The weekend continues with an exploration of historical sites and seasonal woolen crafts at the “Adirondack Wool & Arts Festival”. Located at 392 Old Schuylerville Road, Greenwich, NY, this festival offers a unique opportunity to discover the artisans of the Adirondacks and their woolen crafts. 

Greet the morning early with an invigorating 12-minute drive to “Mimi's Café" nestled in the heart of downtown Saratoga at 47 Phila St. The charming cafe sets the perfect tone for a day of discovery with their delightful breakfast offerings. 

Your next stop, a short 16-minute drive away, is the historic “General Philip Schuyler House” at 4 Broadway, Schuylerville. Delve into the rich history with a guided tour scheduled for 11 a.m. The house, a testament to the past, welcomes visitors for guided tours every Friday-Sunday until October 15.  

The next destination, just a stone's throw away, is the iconic “Saratoga Monument” located on Burgoyne St. Stand in awe of this towering memorial as you take a moment to reflect on its historical significance. 

The afternoon unfolds at the “Adirondack Wool & Arts Festival”, a mere 5-minute drive from the monument.
